About Luminary Ink

In a world that puts productivity over presence, we believe in the value of your creative voice.

That’s why we are working to increase access to creative support and community through writing and reflection.

It's not about getting published.

It's not about professional communication.

It's about the connection between the self, language, and expression through process writing.

For everyone—

For the good of the thing—

Creating the space we crave.

At the slow thought collective we believe:

your voice matters

access to creative language is all of our right and we don't have to wait for permission

every individual deserves freedom to explore their creativity

the future is analog

At a time when socially we have to be good for something, let's be good for nothing.

What is the slow thought collective?

Who’ll be facilitating?

Heather Parrish is a writer, educator, and designer with a deep love for helping others find their voice.

She earned an MA/MFA in English Teaching and Creative Nonfiction from the University of Montana in Missoula nearly 10 years ago, and since then has taught writing, literature, communications, journalism, and teacher education at colleges across Montana.

She’s also experienced in curriculum development and coaching writing.

The past few years, she’s been using language to empower small business owners as a content designer in tech.

Most importantly, she deeply believes everyone has a right to a voice, and to creative communication. It’s this mission-based approach that shapes the way she leads and coaches at Luminary Ink.
